VW / Audi 1.8 Litre to Borg Warner T5 Bellhousing Uprated Clutch Kit
This bellhousing kit will mate the Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT or Skoda 1.8 litre 20 valve turbocharged engines to the Borg Warner T5 (2WD Cosworth) gearbox.
The kit includes the VW / Audi to Borg Warner T5 bellhousing, RWD Motorsport lightweight steel flywheel, Mondeo slave cylinder, heavy duty aluminium clutch pressure plate, heavy duty organic clutch plate, bellhousing bolts, gearbox bolts and slave cylinder mounting bolts.
The clutch will handle 385 ft lb or 520 Nm of torque.
The standard Mondeo slave cylinder, connects via an included adaptor directly to the bellhousing rear inner face. The nose of the T5 will need to be cut down to allow the slave cylinder to slide over but this will not affect the integral oil seal.
* Requires a spigot bearing from the longitudinal Audi A4 engine.
** Starter required is the Audi A4 1.8 turbo variant
*** The bottom bellhousing holes are spaced to fit the inline A4 sump. If using a transverse sump or other engine variants, the sump holes will not align. In a RWD application this is not a structural issue as the engine is supported at the midpoint and the engine / gearbox assembly is not subjected to the same forces.

**** Please note that these engines share the same bellhousing pattern however we have only tested on the 1.8 litre 20 valve and 1.9 litre TDI engines.
***** Fits Sierrra Cosworth T5. The TVR gearbox flange is 4mm smaller in diameter and so will need spacing out. Mustang T5 has a different spline input shaft.
got it last friday and it fits oke
but the holes for the bleeding nipple realy not in line so that i had to re drill and make the holes much bigger

Thank you for your review. The holes are to put a flexible pipe instead of the bleed nipple then you mount the bleed nipple on the end of the flexible pipe outside of the bellhousing. We will amend the product description to make this much clearer.
