This aluminium blanking plate replaces the standard exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve on all Duratec engines. It improves engine power and assists engine tuning by allowing the engine to use fresh oxygen for the combustion process instead of using recirculated exhaust gas. Simply remove the existing exhaust gas recirculation valve and replace with the blanking plate using silicon gasket sealant.
