* Please note that some Duratec 2.3 donor vehicles such as the Ford Ranger use a larger 116 teeth flywheel. The starter motor from these vehicles are not compatible with the smaller 112 tooth flywheel as they have a 10mm greater offset. Please use the standard Ford Mondeo or Focus starter motors
Note: You are able to use standard bolts with this flywheel but you will need to shorten them slightly so that they don’t bottom out when you tighten them (due to thinner flywheel face). Alternatively and for added security choose our Duratec ARP flywheel bolt set.
Well made fitted great, had to buy shorter bolts then lock tite to set them home, all good
I needed a lightweight flywheel to allow me to connect my uprated Duratec engine to a Ford gearbox. This product is drilled to accept the 8 1/2" Pinto clutch, meaning that I could bolt my current heavy duty clutch directly to it. The flywheel has an integral ring gear that matches the standard starter motor.
